York Minster on Good Friday

'the largest gothic cathedral north of the Alps'....Impressive, but it makes me wonder where the larger one/ones are to the south.. Does anyone know the answer?

Barcelona? One of my friends from work was wandering round York with me after a seminar once and we were looking at York Minster. He described it "As ornate as f*ck", which is just about right really.
