Alpine Shutter
I took the rather bland photo below a couple of years ago during our Dents Du Midi trek. Sophie has created this vibrant painting from it for her final piece of art for A level. Needless to say we're very proud....don't know how she does it...!!

Devon weekend 23 May 09
Had a great day celebrating the Christenings of Evie and Harry, and then Judy's 60th birthday at Woodcote. Great to see everyone and especially those who had come back from Australia for the occasion.
This photo was taken at the Yeolden lodge hotel in Northam, where we spent a lovely afternoon after the Christening, overlooking the Torridge estuary.

Calshot Velodrome June 4 2009
Here's a photo of Janice celebrating her birthday by taking us all out to the velodrome. It was the first time for most of us, and we all had a really good time, and the instructor helped build our confidence for those scary looking banked corners on the fixed wheel bikes.
What...climbing again?
Had a great day out at Portland Bill with John Parker, who I last climbed with some 20 years ago (The Right Unconquerable at Stanage I think). Since then John has become really good, and did a 3 day ascent of Half Dome and Yosemite, and I have done sod all...so it was nice of him to take me out for the day.
