Prisank - Julian Alps
While in Austria, I had a days walk up one of the big peaks of the Julian Alps, and Prisank was one of the most accessable summits. It's just over 2500m and few mountains I've been up have so much bare rock to reach the summit. There were a few stretches of via ferrata cabling which were straightforward, but sometimes very exposed...
This photo of me is in the approach to the summit behind along the west ridge.

Another visit to Austria
After last year's lovely trip to southern Austria, we went again this year and enjoyed to wonderful hospitality and good company of Gerli and her family. In case you thought Sophie had gone blonde, Izzy's friend Maya came with us this year and it was a pleasure to have her with us.
This photo is actually in the Julian Alps above Kranska Gora, but it just so happened to be of the 4 of us in a grand location.
